Thanks to an Indian Summer, which lasted a week, the Google Earth picture of my cycling trips now looks a little more balanced. Last Friday I cycled to my mother who lives in the north of the Netherlands (Haren, Groningen to be precise). The updated picture on the right now includes the GPS tracks of the trip. Cycling season should now be definitely over, switching to chess.
I mostly followed the so-called Saxony route (LF 14b for the cyclists). This route has a problem, it lacks refueling stations. Not that my bike needs petrol, but I need something to drink and eat once in a while and petrol stations also cater for this. Perhaps it is an idea that we all use cars less (I don't even have a driving licence) and buy food and drink at petrol stations.
