Don't give up hope, Anjo! I think what you are working on has amazing potential... in a lot of different ways.

I'd be more than happy to be a test subject. Send me what you need: pcaputa at whizspark dot com.

Marshall

What is the difference between what you are looking for and Technorati's "X links from X sources"?

Anjo

Peter,
Thanks for the encouragement!.
I'll try to run the software starting from your weblog later. Would be interesting if you mail me what you think your community is.

Anjo

Marshall,
For a weblog community there needs to be some level of linking in both directions. Technorati says who links to you, but do you also link to them?

Peter Caputa

Gentleman,
There are a few people working on the "who do I link to" opportunity. Stay tuned to my weblog for more on that.

Anjo,
I am very excited to see what you come up with!

So Anjo, next time YOU must come to Seattle as well. Then we could all eat chocolate and talk about blog communities.

Nancy

p.s. If I can be of assistance with blogs/links, just holler. Lilia will be here tonight and I hope we talk/see a lot about your collective work! We'll have a glass of wine in your name too! ;-)

Anjo

Hi Nancy,
Checked my cycling route planner and it tells me I'll get wet travelling to Seattle (was there during 9/11). It is not raining as well is it? Have fun you two, and toast on Lilia. I've seldomly worked with someone who is so energetic, full of good ideas and geek enough to let me use her local wifi network :-).

Might go to Banff later this year, that is at least close to Seattle by American standards :-).

Nancy White

Banff? Beautiful, but not so close... even in N. American imaginings. About a 16 hour drive maybe?

We had a little rain, but also some lovely sunset colors tonight as Lilia, Henri and I went out with some Seattle bloggers for Chinese food. I'm very full. I should ride your bike and work off the noodles I ate!

Anjo

I'll keep on checking for conferences in Seattle then. The USA for me is the east/west coast, and a big hole in the middle.
