Therese Örnberg asks herself the question whether researchers write about "core" or "peripheral" research work.
My core can be summarised in one word: tools. And although I do not blog about how the tools work in detail, I show the results of applying them. There are cases when I stumble on things that could become part of a paper, but not a paper I would be able to write. This, for example, applies to Making a Difference, of which the last line reads: "No conclusions, as usual.". To turn the idea into a paper would require putting it in a broader context and this in turn would require someone with a background in social research.
If what started as a fun post would become a paper by somebody else that would be really nice. Being a little selfish, I would like to be a co-author and will contribute in writing.
