Lilia is a little concerned about tools collecting online traces:
For me, as someone who wants to 'bookmark' digital bits of people I met offline, having a tool like that would be great. For me, as a one 'being searched for', it sounds like a nightmare: I'm not happy when others connect my online dots on one page, especially if I don't know them.
I think Lilia is old and wise enough to control her own online traces, the real privacy issues start when others put traces about you (or me) online. And this is becoming easier and easier due to the abundance of tagging systems and opportunities to publish pictures and movies online.
An example of the latter is a chess game I played recently. Someone has made a movie of this game and placed it on YouTube, without asking permission as per obvious. A movie of a chess game is rather innocent, but when technology makes it so easy to make movies (mobile phone), put them online and tag them for everyone to find, there is a serious reason to be at least a little worried and I see no way to escape.
I did escape in the chess game though, and there is nothing sweeter than keeping a lost position. You can view the movie here. Chess is played by two people, and those who don't know me personally still only have a 50% chance of guessing correctly, connecting some other online traces can make this 100% :-).
